Major interview with Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting: Los Angeles, 2016

In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the birth of Shakespeare, in 2016, the British Film Institute presented the biggest ever programme of twenty British-made “Shakespeare” films  shown in 130 countries across the World.

These films included a 4k digital restoration of Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet. The 4K restoration was a partnership between Paramount Pictures and Park Circus, made possible with funding from the British Council and the British Film Institute Unlocking Film Heritage programme.

A number of talks and interviews took place at various locations as part of the “Shakespeare Lives” programme, especially this wonderful 30-minute Q & A session with Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, interviewed by Grant Moninger at The American Cinematheque in Los Angeles, CA, in December 2016, courtesy of the BFI.
