Deleted Scene 3: Tybalt’s first appearance

Scene 3 was the subject of concern by the British film censor (BBFC) in December 1967 as to the level of nudity in the scene.  See sub-menu “BBFC” on this site. Certainly, the shooting script suggested that both actors would appear nude in the scene.  As will be seen from the two stills from the deleted scene (below), the level of nudity was really quite innocuous.   There is no evidence that the scene was deleted as a result of the BBFC’s comments, but more likely was a consequence of the need to reduce the length of the movie.
